Ask a Foster Parent
In October 2024, the Cayuga Centers marketing team hatched the idea of bringing foster parents together from each of our regions to participate in an Ask a Foster Parent event. Foster parents from Pittsburgh, Delaware, Upstate New York and Florida participated.
In a live event streamed on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and StreamYard, an audience from all over the country was able to learn about becoming a foster parent, and have a chance to ask our experienced foster parents like:

My Contributions

Moderated event and interviewed foster parents.

Created advertising elements including flyers, social media designs, and backgrounds.

Created social media recaps of the event.

Created Constant Contact emails for cold lead outreach.

Recruited foster parents for participation.

Collaborated with team members for the opening video and "about Cayuga Centers" section of the broadcast.

Collaborated with team members to write the script and assigned duties as needed for live event.

Michelle demonstrated a wonderful ability to connect with foster parents, creating an environment where they felt comfortable sharing their personal stories and capturing the experience of their foster parenting journey. Her enthusiasm, creativity and focus delivered a highly impactful event.
